Stanford Health Day at the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo – November 18th, 2017, in San Mateo. Information and tickets. Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health are partnering with the Celiac Community Foundation of Northern California to provide a Health Education Day at the Expo with a line-up of Stanford experts on topics in celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders, FODMAPs, food allergies and immunology. Keynote speaker will be Peter H.R. Green, MD, director of the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. Please note: the Expo is on both Saturday and Sunday, but the Stanford event is only Saturday. All talks and classes are included the in admission price to the Expo and no registration is necessary. Are you on a gluten-free diet or interested in learning about gluten-related disorders? A quarterly support group for those with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity meets at the Culinary Center of Whole Foods in Napa, 3682 Bel Aire Plaza. Admission is free. Members of the public are welcome and sign-ups are not necessary unless specified.
