INFORMATION AND FREE REGISTRATION
The new Stanford Center for Pediatric IBD & Celiac Disease is hosting a special event on Saturday, May 20th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Celiac Disease Awareness Month. The event is called “Celiac Strong: Empowering the Gluten-Free Community” and features activities geared to both adults and families with children impacted by celiac disease:
- Informative talks and Q&A by experts
- Samples from gluten-free food companies
- Tastings provided by local 100% gluten-free restaurants
- Resources to better understand celiac disease and its impact
Whether you or a loved one have been diagnosed with celiac disease, or you’re simply interested in learning more about it, this event is for you. Bring your questions, meet others in the community, and enjoy a fun and educational morning. Talks will include the psychosocial impact of celiac disease, the dietary treatment, a research update and more. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity to learn about celiac disease and how we can work together to support those affected by it.
